Biographical Information

Rashid Gerard is a Hoofdklasse player.

Gerard was 3 for 19 with four walks and three times hit-by-pitch in the 2009 European Junior Championship; he fielded .882 as an infielder. A catcher in the 2010 World Junior Championship, he hit .346/.370/.500 with the only Dutch home run. He was third on the team in OPS. He also did well defensively, throwing out four of nine attempted base-stealers.

With the Amsterdam Pirates in 2010, his Hoofdklasse debut, he hit .234/.286/.287.
