Raphael Cerrato

Raphael Cerrato is a college coach.

Cerrato was assistant coach at Rhode Island after graduating from there, then was assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts for three years. From 2001-2005, he was assistant coach at Brown University. He then came to the University of New Haven as assistant coach in 2006 before succeeding Frank Vieira as the second head coach in school history. He was 74-64 after three years. In 2012, Cerrato became an assistant coach at University of Rhode Island then took over as head coach in 2015. His nephews Nick Ahmed and Mike Ahmed played professionally.
