Biographical Information[edit]
Randy Warrick was 392-146 as head coach of the University of South Carolina Aiken from 1979-1989, taking the team to the 1986 NAIA College World Series. The Kansas City Royals had taken him as a third baseman in the 27th round of the 1974 amateur draft out of junior college, one round before Sammy Stewart, but he opted for his degree. He also was golf coach for USC Aiken in 1989-1990, assistant basketball coach in 1978-1979 and spent over 25 years as their athletic director.
