Biographical Information

Ramon Sambo spent time as a batting practice pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates and was a coach for the GCL Orioles in 1997, Williamsport Crosscutters in 1999, 2001-2002, and 2005, Lynchburg Hillcats in 2006, GCL Orioles again in 2014, the Frederick Keys in 2016, Aberdeen IronBirds in 2017-2018, and Norfolk Tides in 2019. He was scheduled to coach Norfolk in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19, then did coach Norfolk in 2021-2024.
