Biographical Information

Ramon Acosta pitched in the Minnesota Twins system from 2006 to 2009. He is most notable for not allowing a single earned run in 54 2/3 innings for the DSL Twins in 2008, giving him a season ERA of 0.00; he allowed just 6 unearned runs, 26 hits and 9 walks (0.640 WHIP), while striking out 35 batters. He was 5-0 on the year. The year before, with the same club, he was 4-5 with a 2.48 ERA in 14 starts. Overall, he went 9-8 with a 2.57 ERA in 47 games (27 starts).
