Ramón Eugenio Ruiz
Ramón Ruiz was a member of the first two Panamanian national teams. In their first game, at the 1930 Central American Games, he hit 5th and played first base, going 4 for 6 with 3 runs, 2 doubles and a homer in a win over Guatemala. He finished the event at .269/?/.500 but with 8 runs in 6 games. He fielded .934. He led the event in runs, one ahead of Cuban Porfirio Espinosa and Mexico's Manuel Chávez as Panama took the Bronze. He also helped Panama win Silver at the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games.
