Biographical Information[edit]

Ramón Moret was a second baseman for Villa Clara from 1980-1981 to 1991-1992. He hit .360 in 1989-1990 and .355 in 1987-1988. Overall, he hit .274/.355/.353 in 1,555 plate appearances and fielded .974 in 431 games. Moret became manager of Villa Clara in 2011-2012, replacing Eduardo Martin. He went 58-38 his first season but fell to 50-37 in both 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 and 21-24 in 2014-2015, then was replaced by Vladimir Hernández.
