Biographical Information

Ralph Sharman was an outfielder with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1917 who was serving in training in the U.S. Army during World War I when he drowned while swimming in the Alabama River while on an outing. He died at age 23 and is buried at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
