Biographical Information[edit]
Ralph Miller played three years in the majors. Although he was a regular with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1920 and had over 200 at-bats with them in 1921, he played in the World Series with the Washington Senators in 1924, after getting into only nine games with them during the regular season. He played in four games in the 1924 World Series, mostly batting eighth in the line-up.
Miller was born and died in Fort Wayne, IN, and also played in the minors for Fort Wayne in 1932, hitting .325. His manager there was Bill Wambsganss.
He is not to be confused with a couple of other major leaguers named Ralph Miller. One of them was also in the majors in 1921, playing for the Senators.
