Biographical Information[edit]
Rafael Ocasio caught for the Puerto Rican national team in the 1959 Central American and Caribbean Games. He hit .345, 9th in the event, between Gus Gil and Guillermo Rosado and led the team with 9 runs (5th in the Games). His .977 fielding at catcher was second, .005 behind David Inojosa. [1] He was an engineer and a lieutenant colonel in the Puerto Rican army. [2] He made several Halls of Fame. [3]
