Rafael Kinsler

From BR Bullpen

Rafael Kinsler was the first pitcher to throw a complete game for Venezuela in an Amateur World Series, doing so versus Hawaii in 1940. He also beat Mexico twice and pulled a big upset by defeating the U.S. team 3-0. He finished the event 4-2 with a 0.64 ERA. In 42 innings as a workhorse, he walked 21 but allowed only 24 hits. He was 5th in the Series in ERA, just ahead of future major leaguer and Series MVP Connie Marrero.
