Biographical Information[edit]
Quentin Brown graduated from Western High School and then played baseball at Purdue University Fort Wayne from 2006-2009. He immediately moved into the high school coaching ranks for two years at Garrett High School. Brown returned to Western as an assistant coach from 2012-2013 and helped led the Panthers to a state championship during the 2012 season. He took over as head coach in 2013 and remained in that position until August, 2016. At some point afterwards he joined the Finch Creek Fieldhouse athletic facility and was the Vice-President in 2021.
The Pittsburgh Pirates hired Brown to serve as a hitting coach for the FCL Pirates in 2022 and Bradenton Marauders in 2023. In 2024 Brown was initially appointed to serve as the Integrated Baseball Performance Coach (AKA development coach) for the Greensboro Grasshoppers. At some point in the year he was moved to the FCL Pirates to work as a hitting coach.
