Prussia
Prussia was a country in central Europe that became the central part of the German Empire when it was formed in 1871. Its capital was Berlin. Part of the country, known as East Prussia, was ceded to Poland after World War II, with the USSR also annexing an enclave around the port city of Königsberg, which is now part of Russia. Bill Paasch was born here.
