In these dying days of the Negro Leagues, comedy and showmanship were as much a part of the entertainment as the baseball. Prince Joe was known for wearing a tuxedo jacket and top hat during games.

Henry also saw some action in organized baseball with the Canton Citizens and the Mount Vernon Kings.

Late in life, Henry wrote a series of articles for the River Front Times called "Ask A Negro Leaguer".
