Memphis Red Sox
The Memphis Red Sox were a longtime Negro Leagues team. They played their home games at Martin Park. Four of their players went on to play in the National League or in the American League: Dan Bankhead, Jay Heard, Marshall Bridges, and Bob Boyd. Another Red Sox player was country singer Charley Pride.
