Martin Park

Martin Park was a stadium in Memphis, TN used at the primary home ballpark for the Memphis Red Sox of the Negro American League, owned by and named for brothers J.B. and B.B. Martin in the mid-1930s, located at what is now E.H. Crump Boulevard, between Lauderdale Street and Danny Thomas Boulevard in Memphis. It was one of the few professional ballparks in its day built primarily for the use of a Negro League team, and was in use by the Red Sox until their disbanding in 1960. It was sold and demolished some time in the 1960s, and its former site is now home to a trucking company.
