Biographical Information[edit]
Popón López was 7-0 in the Dominican in 1946. He helped the Dominican national team win the 1948 Amateur World Series (their first world title; the next was the 2013 World Baseball Classic), throwing 18 straight strikes in a win over Nicaragua.
