The Pittsfield Dukes were a member of the New England Collegiate Baseball League from 2005 until 2008. The Dukes relocated from nearby Hinsdale, MA where they played a single season as the Berkshire Dukes. Following the 2008 season, the team was renamed the Pittsfield American Defenders.
