Biographical Information

Ping-Wei Tseng pitched in the CPBL for 2 years.

Tseng was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the 11th round of the 2009 CPBL Draft, and he had a 5.51 ERA in 40 games in his rookie year. The Elephants then released him, and the Sinon Bulls picked him up. Tseng had a 14.40 ERA in 14 games in 2012, then he went 4-3 with a 4.30 ERA in the CPBL minor league in 2013, Tseng was released again after the 2013 season, and his professional career ended.

Tseng's repertoire included a fastball (peak 85.1 mph), sinker, slider and curveball.

Overall, Tseng was 2-4 with a 7.02 ERA, pitched 59 innings and struck out 29 in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
