The Phoenix Saguaros were a member of the Arizona Fall League in 1992, its inaugural season. Managed by Scott Ullger the Saguaros finished with the AFL's best record (33-18) but lost the championship series to the Sun Cities Solar Sox. The next year, the Saguaros moved to Mesa, AZ.
