Phoenix Municipal Stadium
Phoenix Municipal Stadium (I) opened in 1947 and closed in 1964. Phoenix Municipal Stadium (II) opened in 1964 and served as the home of the Phoenix Firebirds until 1992. It was home of the AZL Diamondbacks in 1996. In 2005, the ballpark got a $8 million renovation, and it was the spring training home of the Oakland A's through 2014.
