Philadelphia Pythians
The Philadelphia Pythians were the most successful team in the short-lived League of Colored Baseball Clubs. The club from Philadelphia, PA had a 4-1 record in that league.
They first came about in 1866, with Octavius Catto playing shortstop for the team.
