Biographical Information[edit]
Phil Stidham, who pitched briefly in the majors for the Detroit Tigers in 1994, won nearly 60% of his games in the minors. He was on Team USA for the 1990 Goodwill Games, when they won a Bronze Medal. He had a 2.61 ERA in seven games as the USA's top hurler in the 1990 Baseball World Cup,
His time at the University of Arkansas overlapped with that of two other pitchers, Mike Oquist and Matt Wagner as well as fellow Team USA player Doug Bennett.
