Pete Yarasavich grew up in the USA and played his high school and college ball there. After graduating, he was a player-coach in the Dutch minor leagues from 1992-1994. He was head coach of De Spartaan in 1995, then was player-coach for RCH in 1996. He hit .287 and slugged .434 for RCH in '97 and .320 and .536 in 1998. He hit .386 in 1999 with 13 homers, 42 runs and 40 RBI. He was three homers shy of the league lead. He coached ADO for part of 2001 (before Aldric Dunlop replaced him) and Almere in 2002.
