Biographical Information[edit]
Pete Rambo appeared in one single game in the majors, on September 16, 1926 for the 1926 Philadelphia Phillies. He was 19 at the time.
As a batter, he went 1-for-1, thus making him part of the 1.000 batting average club. He also had no errors in the field, making him part of the 1.000 fielding percentage club. However, as a pitcher, he pitched 3 2/3 innings, giving up 6 earned runs and 2 unearned runs.
Ed Baecht was also a 19-year-old rookie with the Phillies in 1926, and while he had a 6.11 ERA for them, he continued to have 5 more seasons in the majors. Rambo, however, never returned.
