Biographical Information[edit]
Peng-Po Lee played in the TML for 3 years.
Lee represented Taiwan in the 1990 World Youth Championship. He was drafted by the Kaoping Fala in the 2nd round of the 1997 TML draft, and he hit .059/.111/.235 in 11 games in 1998. He improved to .229/.270/.271 in 1999, then the Fala traded him to the Chianan Luka for Den-Kai Tang. Lee's batting line was .154/.214/.231 in 2000, then he was released and his professional career ended. He then coached Shi-Yuan High School from 2004 to 2011, and he coached Taiwan in the 2009 World Youth Championship and 2010 World Junior Championship. Lee became the fielding coach for the Sinon Bulls from 2011 to 2012, and he returned to Shi-Yuan and coached them from 2012 to 2016. He is a scout for the New York Yankees since 2019.
Overall, Lee hit .183/.231/.254 with 23 hits in 3 seasons in the TML.
