Biographical Information[edit]
Pedro Tineo was on the Dominican national team that won Bronze in the 1954 Central American and Caribbean Games. [1] In the 1955 Pan American Games, he led all players with 13 runs (in 8 games) and tied Jorge Chico for the most steals (5), helping the Dominicans win Gold, their only Pan American Games Gold through 2024. [2] He hit .390 and slugged .585 for the event. [3] He played 11 games for the 1956 Yuma Sun Sox, hitting .200/.400/.333 with 10 walks and 2 triples in 11 games.
