Biographical Information[edit]
Pedro Castellano played 51 games with the Colorado Rockies between 1993 and 1996, belting 3 home runs in 71 at bats his first season while hitting just .183. Ultimately a career .161 hitter in the bigs, he hit well over .300 several times in the minors and was Carolina League MVP in the Chicago Cubs system in 1991. After his days in the U.S., he played in NPB (Yomiuri in 1997)and in Mexico until 2013, routinely raking over or around .300 until the bitter end.
