Biographical Information

Paul Weaver has been a long-time scout. He scouted for the San Diego Padres (1978-1980), Houston Astros (1980-2004) and Arizona Diamondbacks (2005-2006). He joined the Chicago Cubs as a special assistant to the GM in October 2006 and became their Director of International Scouting two years later. He signed Ken Caminiti, Chang-yong Lim and Mel Stottlemyre Jr.
