Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Paul Turco was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 57th round of the 1995 amateur draft, one pick ahead of infielder Gabe Kapler, then in the 39th round of the 1999 amateur draft by the San Francisco Giants. He spent two years in the Giants system, 1999 and 2000, slashing .206/.312/.221 with no home runs, 16 RBI and 4 stolen bases in 77 games. He never played above High A.

He later became a Giants scout, signing, among others Eddy Martinez-Esteve, Marcus Sanders and Clay Timpner. His father, Paul Turco, has been a scout and college coach, while his brother, Anthony Turco, played in the minor leagues and has scouted.
