Paul Warren Schrieber

Biographical Information[edit]

Paul Schrieber was a second-generation umpire, his father having made it to AAA. After playing baseball in college, Paul umped in the 1990 Northwest League, 1991-1992 California League, 1993 Florida State League, 1994-1995 Southern League and 1996-1997 American Association. He made the majors during the 1997 season as part of the National League staff. He was made permanent in 1998, then worked until the end of the 2015 season, for a total of 2,207 games.

Schrieber worked the 2000 and 2015 All-Star Games, in addition to four Division Series.
