Biographical Information

Paul Neophytou has played for the Greek national team; Greece has relied heavily on Americans and Canadians of Greek descent.

Neophytou debuted for Greece in the 2021 European Championship, playing one game. He started in left field and hit 7th against Austria. He was 1 for 3 against Christian Tomsich, got plunked by Moritz Scheicher and flew out against Scheicher. Fellow Canadian John Kalivas replaced him later in the 14-13, extra-inning win.
