Biographical Information[edit]
Paul Moeller played his college ball in three schools, Cosumnes River College, the University of the Pacific and San Francisco State University, and graduated in 2013 with a degree in communications from San Francisco State. Moeller did not pitch extensively in college, at least in part due to arm problems and Tommy John surgery early in his college career.
After college Moeller worked at the Walbeck Baseball Academy in the Sacramento, CA area from 2013-2019. He worked primarily as an instructor while filling other roles as needed. In October 2019 Moeller joined Santa Clara University as a volunteer assistant coach. He did not remain with the Broncos for long.
The Milwaukee Brewers hired Moeller in 2020 for a development coach position with the Biloxi Shuckers before COVID-19 led to the the cancellation of the minor league season. He was then a pitching coach for the DSL Brewers 2 in 2021 and ACL Brewers Gold in 2022. Moeller started the 2023 season with the ACL Brewers before being transferred to Biloxi in mid-June to serve as the Shuckers' bullpen coach. He remained in the role in the 2024 season.
