Biographical Information[edit]
A cross-handed batter, "Pound 'em Paul" Easterling excelled in the Texas League. He was the first Texas leaguer to record a 30-30 season, accomplishing the feat for the Beaumont Exporters in 1932. He played thirteen seasons in the league, retiring as the the career leader in games (1,777), runs (1,134), hits (1,922), total bases , doubles (378), home runs (223) and RBI (1,136).
