Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Paul Eames played nine seasons of minor league baseball, beginning in 1947. He had his finest year in 1952, playing for the Thomasville Tomcats, hitting .317 (second in the Georgia-Florida League) with 12 home runs. The last two seasons of his career, he was a player-manager, leading the Waycross Bears in 1954 and the Tifton Blue Sox in 1955. Following his playing days, he was a longtime scout.
