Biographical Information

Patrick Jones played college ball at Xavier University and graduated in 2015 with a degree in sports management. After college he played in the independent leagues with the Watertown Bucks in 2016 and the High Desert Yardbirds in 2017.

Jones established Patrick Jones Baseball in 2017 through which he offers private hitting instruction and hosts a baseball podcast. He also has experience coaching teams. In the spring of 2018 Jones was the head JV coach at Madeira High School. During the summer of 2018 he served as the hitting coach for the Lima Locos, a team playing in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. Jones joined Moeller High School in September, 2018 as a freshman assistant coach and remained there through most of 2019.

The Baltimore Orioles hired Jones for the 2020 GCL Orioles hitting coach position before the minor league season was shut down due to COVID-19. He was hitting coach of the Delmarva Shorebirds in 2021.
