Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Pat Winkel was drafted twice. He was originally taken by the New York Yankees in the 31st round of the 2018 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He did sign after being taken by the Minnesota Twins in the 9th round of the 2021 amateur draft; his signing bonus was $500,000.

He hit .243/.369/.357 with 1 home run, 11 RBI and 13 walks in 21 games for the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels in 2021. He began 2022 with the High-A Cedar Rapids Kernels.
