Biographical Information[edit]

Pao-Lo Tseng pitched in the CPBL for 2 years.

Tseng was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the 3rd round of the 2008 CPBL Draft, and he went 2-3 with a 4.36 ERA while leading the minors in homers allowed in 2009. The Brothers released him, and he signed with the La New Bears. Tseng went 1-4 with a 5.50 ERA in the minors in 2010, and his ERA was 6.28 in 7 games with the big club. He then had a 6.52 ERA in 27 games in the minors in 2011, and he allowed 2 runs in an inning in his only major league appearance in that season. Tseng never pitched another game with the big club until he was released in 2013.

Tseng’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 91.3 mph), forkball and curveball.

Overall, Tseng was 0-1 with a 7.04 ERA, pitched 15 1/3innings and struck out 4 in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
