Pablo Higuerey
Biographical Information[edit]
Pablo Higuerey went 2-0 for the Venezuelan national team that won Silver at the 1959 Central American and Caribbean Games; he tied for the lead in wins. His 0.61 ERA was third behind Pedro Pérez and Mauro Ruiz. He was 1-0 with the 1959 Tampa Tarpons, a two-game stint in the minors (his only experience in the US). In the winter of 1959-1960, he allowed two hits, a walk and two earned runs in 2/3 of an inning for the Licoreros de Pampero, his only Venezuelan League action.
