Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Ozney Guillen is the son of Ozzie Guillen, brother of Oney Guillen and cousin of Ehire Adrianza. Ozney had a college commitment to the University of South Florida when the Chicago White Sox took him in the 22nd round of the 2010 amateur draft. The family had expected him to go higher.
Guillen instead attended Miami Dade College and St. Thomas University. He then played in independent ball from 2014 to 2018.
Guillen became a manager with the Tri-City ValleyCats in 2019. He also managed Vaqueros de Montería which were Colombia's first-ever representatives in the Caribbean Series in 2020.
