Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Owen Dew played in the Cleveland Indians' chain in 2010-2013, missing the 2012 season.
Dew was an assistant coach at Seminole State College of Florida in 2015-2017 and an unpaid associate scout for the Indians at the same time.
Dew became a pitching coach for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in 2017, AZL Indians 2 in 2018, and Lake County Captains in 2019. He was scheduled to be pitching coach for the Lynchburg Hillcats in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19. Dew was pitching coach of the Akron RubberDucks in 2021-2022 and Columbus Clippers in 2024.
