Biographical Information[edit]
Otto Vogel was the baseball coach at University of Iowa from 1925 to 1942 and 1946 to 1962. In his two years in the majors with the Chicago Cubs in 1923 and 1924, he played mostly outfield.
Vogel was at the University of Illinois at the same time as Wally Roettger.
