Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Otis Miller spent four years with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the International League, hitting .345 with 120 RBI in 1926. After playing with the St. Louis Browns in 1927, he was back in the minors with the Milwaukee Brewers for two seasons, in both of which he hit over .300. After spending two years with the Boston Red Sox, he returned to the minors for one more year before retiring.
After his baseball days, Miller was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for 16 years.
He is listed as Otto Miller in a number of reference sources, although he always went by Otis. The form Otto is due to Otto Miller, whose long major league career took place just before Otis reached the big leagues.
