Oscar Prieto Ortiz
Venezuelan-born Oscar Prieto Ortiz was known as "El Negro Prieto". He was the owner of the Caracas Lions in the Venezuelan Baseball League, buying the former Cervecería Caracas club in 1952 and renaming it. With Pablo Morales, he helped create the Caribbean Series. He was inducted into the Caribbean Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.
