Biographical Information[edit]
Orlando Torres pitched for the Venezuelan national team in the 1952 Amateur World Series. He had a 6.84 ERA in 7 games for the Pastora de Occidente team in the 1953-1954 Venezuelan League. He split 1954 between the Leones del Caracas (1-0, 3 ER in 10 IP) and the Navegantes del Magallanes (0-1, 5 ER in 11 IP). He had a 8.71 ERA for the 1955-1956 Navegantes and 6.10 for Oriente in 1956-1957. He had a career 1-1, 5.94 record in 28 LVBP games.
