Orlando Nicolina
Orlando Nicolina was an outfielder for the Netherlands Antilles national team. In the 1986 Amateur World Series, he homered twice off Fumihiro Ishii in a 5-3 upset win over Japan. He helped the Netherlands Antilles win the Silver Medal in the 1986 Central American and Caribbean Games, their best finish ever in a Central American and Caribbean Games (through 2016). He also played in the 1987 Pan American Games. He hit .167/.211/.222 in the 1988 Baseball World Cup, splitting right field with Alvaro Ascension and backing up Charlton Cijntije in left field and Marlon Balentin in center, with 14 putouts, an assist and an error. He also played in the 1991 Pan American Games. He has served as an unofficial historian of baseball in the Dutch Antilles.
