The Orizaba Charros are the most recent minor league team from Orizaba, Veracruz (through 2011). Despite a .350/.511/.630 batting line in part-time action from 41-year-old manager Minnie Miñoso, the team placed last in the Mexican Southeast League. Their 15,532 attendance was less than half any other team and the league and they had no All-Stars. Despite only playing in about a third of his team's games, Miñoso led the league with 12 times hit by pitch. Despite their terrible record, four players went on to the Salón de la Fama - Cy Acosta (6-13, 4.14, the league leader in losses), Antonio Pollorena (5-5, 3.79), Gabriel Lugo (.316/.420/.524) and player-manager Miñoso.
