Biographical Information[edit]
Oliver "Ollie" Kadey played college ball for four years at Missouri Western State University. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in business administration.
Kadey joined the Texas Baseball Ranch training facility in 2015 as an instructor and membership director. He stayed with the Ranch through the end of 2019. The Detroit Tigers hired Kadey in 2020 as a development coach for the Lakeland Flying Tigers before COVID-19 caused the minor league season to be cancelled. He then served as the development coach for Lakeland in 2021 and the Erie SeaWolves in 2022. Kadey moved to the Toledo Mud Hens as a Pitching Strategist in 2023 and remained with the Mud Hens in 2024 as a pitching coach.
