Oleksandr Pletenya

Oleksandr Pletenya pitched for the Ukrainian national team in the 2005 European Championship. He lost to Alberto Magallón and Spain, allowing six hits, six walks and nine runs (four earned) in 3 1/3 IP, fanning one; Maksym Lisnitsky relieved. His other appearance was in relief of Oleksandr Trofimenko against Sweden, allowing one hit, a walk and three unearned runs in 2/3 of an inning before Anatoliy Korolev replaced him.
