Biographical Information

Odrisleisis Peguero debuted for the Cuban women's national team in the 2012 Women's Baseball World Cup. In her lone game, she was 1 for 2 with a hit-by-pitch and a run against Australia; Nilza Rodriguez was Cuba's starter in right field otherwise. In the 2015 Pan American Games, Peguero started in right for Cuba. She was 3 for 11 with 3 runs and a RBI; she was the lone Cuban with more than one run in the Games. She tied for second on the team in hits, 3 behind Yurismary Báez. She also played strong defense, with 7 putouts, 4 outfield assists and 2 double plays in 4 games without an error.
